Our retreat is held at a beautiful and luxurious accommodation owned by close family friends. Villa Antica Sosta located on a hill above Castelfiorentino, south of Florence. The villa is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning Tuscan scenery.
The villa offers the perfect setting for your group getaway. Boasting 5 bedrooms, 3 shared bathrooms, a spacious dining and family room with a fireplace and TV, our villa is the ideal place to relax and enjoy quality time with friends and family. The kitchen is fully-equipped and perfect for cooking as a group, including a cooking class.
Highlights are exclusive hiking through the Tuscan hills with an expert guide, a cooking class in a tiny borgo surrounded by vineyards, and unforgettable wine-tastings with special friends of Truly Italy. We'll be visiting towns like San Gimignano, Montefioralle and a majestic church called San Galgano.

Katie has been traveling/living to Italy for over 20 years. She speaks fluent Italian. Stefano, her Florentine husband, will be on this adventure with us as our driver. Fernanda, Stefano's mom, will be our chef for the week. She speaks little English. She has a heart of gold and a great talent of making the most delicious and simple recipes.

Ciao! I'm Katie born in the US but my heart has remained in Florence.
I’ve got almost 20 years under my belt of taking trains, buses, and visiting the most beautiful, secluded places in Italy. In order to live in Florence legally, I went as far as getting UK citizenship to obtain residency in my most favorite city in the world. It was well worth the wait. My heart leapt with joy once I made Florence my permanent home from 2009-2013.
Since moving back home, my goal has been to keep Italy in my life any way possible, and thus, Truly Italy was born!
