This spectacular 5,600 square foot, Mountain Lodge sits on 87 private acres just a few feet from the banks of the South Fork of the Shoshone River near Cody, Wyoming. The property has a well-stocked trout pond and a quarter mile of premium fly-fishing riverfront. Enjoy exclusive mountain views with remote wilderness areas in all directions. The lodge offers high-end touches that include ceramic tile floors with radiant heat, massive log beams and an impressive great room with a large river rock fireplace. The great room features a gourmet kitchen with plenty of counter space (seating for 12) and a dining room table well-suited for entertaining large parties. It is fully equipped with a refrigerator, coffee pot, freezer, gas range, wall oven, microwave, and walk-in pantry. There are four bedrooms with four private bathrooms, two on the main level and two on the lower level. The master suite on the main level has a jetted tub and separate shower, walk in closets, and French doors opening to a deck over-looking the river - and it's close enough to cast your fly from it! Bedroom 2 on the main level and Bedroom 3 on the lower level have queen beds and attached bathrooms with a tub/shower combos. Bedroom 4 has a full bed and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bathroom 5 on the lower level has a step-in shower and the main level has a half bath (no tub or shower).
The downstairs provides a great escape - if you need to burn some energy head to the game room or relax by watching movies on the big screen TV. The basement family room has twin-sized bunk bed, and two futons for additional sleeping. An additional full kitchen adds to the downstairs privacy.
There are three separate patio areas where you can relax and enjoy the stunning mountain and river views. Abundant wildlife and ready access to National Forest land ensure hunting, fishing, hiking, equestrian adventures, mountain climbing and more during your stay. Cody's city center is only 33 miles away and offers cultural and entertainment attractions including a world-class rodeo every evening during the Summer. Winter Getaway
This gorgeous ranch was a perfect basecamp for our winter getaway. Your morning view will overlook dramatic mountains and landscapes. The South Fork of the Shoshoni River meanders through the back yard and deer are often seen browsing and sleeping in the plentiful fields of sage. The home itself if a fantastic blend of huge log construction and terrific western art, and fixtures. Several gas stoves add to the warmth and comfort as does the spacious kitchen and island. It is a joy to cook on the modern antique style stove that features both gas and electric burners. There are plenty of other features including spacious and comfortable bedrooms, downstairs recreation area, two refrigerators and two washer/dryers!

Exceptional!!!
This was our second time staying here and it never disappoints. We had four generations staying from ages 1 yr to 82yrs. There is plenty of space for everyone. The views from every porch and the craftsmanship of this home are just absolutely stunning. It is fully equipped with everything you could think of and access to the River to fish was the guys favorite part to the trip. We will be booking again without hesitation.

Best vacation ever!
I can’t say enough about South Fork River Ranch - it is an absolutely beautiful location and set up perfectly for a multi generational vacation! There was so much space for everyone to gather and to take time for themselves. So close to Yellowstone and Cody, to enjoy all that there is in the area. We all agreed, it was our best vacation ever and would all like to come back again!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us!

South Fork Ranch
We came to South Fork for our yearly family trip with my three siblings and our kiddos. The house was perfect for our large group and provided adequate space for everyone to have their own bathrooms and bedrooms. The pantry had plenty of spices and utensils/appliances to make our stay very comfortable. The scenery was amazing and worth the drive to the remote location for sure!

Peaceful Serenity
If you're looking for a remote cabin (35 minutes drive-time to Cody, WY) then South Fork River Ranch is the perfect mountain hideaway. One thing to note is the cabin is a fair drive from the city of Cody and there is lots of wildlife to be seen, but that also means driving in the dark can be a little scary and dangerous for those not used to looking for animals. Aside from that the place is heaven. We saw moose, elk, mule deer, and birds galore from the log home windows. The house has a perimeter fence which keeps little ones in but the river is close by so be mindful of the fast flowing river. We saw a grizzly bear on the way home one evening and with our spotting scope, we saw bears daily on the hillside across the road (again safely far away). The log home is spacious and fit our 3 families comfortably. We enjoyed no tv access and lack of cell service, it really made us unplug and enjoy our surroundings. The house has everything you need kitchen wise and the heated floors in the bedrooms were a nice touch when we had a 1-day snow storm at the end of May. I am going to recommend this house to all I share our vacation with and hope to return one day. I miss the scenery and beautiful home already. Cody Lodging was also very helpful when any need arose and did an excellent job communicating and answering questions. They also went above and beyond with their support when we let them know we had a little one staying in the house, thank you Cody Lodging!

What an amazing place this was! Plenty of room for the 13 of us and every amenity you can think of. The property was immaculately maintained and truly sits steps from the river! The staff made sure we had all the info we needed for our stay, even texting us the day before we were to arrive to welcome us...very nice! Even though Yellowstone was closed due to historic flooding, my family and I had the best experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you Cody Lodging Company for making our vacation this year the BEST stay we've ever had anywhere!

Phenomenal!
Fantastic place! So much space, so many bathrooms & bedrooms, so much perfection, so much beauty!
We vacationed with my parents and brother's family, there were 4 kids and 6 adults. There was enough space in the basement for my brother's family to spread out and make themselves at home. There were two bedrooms upstairs for my husband and I and my parents. Ample bathrooms for large gatherings!
The kitchen is stocked with nearly all your needs (except a crock pot), so bring one of those if you have plans to use one.
The trout pond was so much fun! The kids had a blast with their dad, uncle & grandpa fishing. We even caught a few!!
Sitting on the back deck listening to the water from the river was so peaceful and relaxing! Meals were a breeze with the counter space & appliances and it was so nice to all be able to sit around the same table for our meals.
The decor is amazing, the house & surrounding property are VERY clean and well kept. The scenery is outstanding. If this had not been our first trip to the area we could have all easily spent our entire vacation at the house.

Wonderful Family Setting
Every aspect of this get-away is A+. The setting could not have been more beautiful. The home and interior design; streams, lakes and trout pond; mountain scape and abundant wildlife...it was more than I had anticipated. The areas offering of attractions and eateries were more than adequate as well. All members of my group expressed similar sentiments about our trip and accommodations. Thanks to our host and the people of Cody, it is a good memory for our family.
