Located in Telluride's historic district, this comfortable home is spacious both inside and out as it is one of the few in town homes situated on a double lot. Built in 1899, it was purchased as a summer home in 1970 by a Michigan couple, both art teachers, who decorated it throughout with copies of their original art work of Telluride.
Renovated in 1999, refurbished in 2016/17, the home still retains its original floors, doors, moldings and some furnishings while providing all the modern conveniences.
The generous family room/kitchen area has a gas fireplace and a 40" flat screen TV. Enjoy your morning coffee as you watch the sun peak out over the mountains and the skiers start down the slopes. Off the kitchen there is a laundry room and half bath. Step out the kitchen door onto a large deck with a fenced in yard and two off street parking places.
The dining room features an old claw foot dining table original to the house and a roll top desk from the Old Mine office. With internet/cable access, this is an ideal place to do business, homework or entertain.
Off the partitioned entrance, the living room offers a cozy retreat from the other areas and features an electric fireplace and a 55" flat screen TV.
On the second floor, the en suite master bedroom has a small balcony and beautiful views of the mountains. It has a king size bed, an electric fireplace and a 40" flat screen. The cozy middle bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a bathroom with the front bedroom which has a queen size bed, a twin bed and a flat screen TV.
Conveniently located on the main street (Colorado Avenue), this home is within walking distance of the grocery store, shops, restaurants, ski lifts and all other Telluride attractions.
Accommodations in Telluride cancellation policy:
The first payment of 33% is due at the time of booking, and the second payment will be taken 30 days before your arrival. Cancellations received after the first payment is received may forfeit the entire deposit unless the property is rebooked for part or all of your dates booked. If the property is rebooked, the first payment will be returned in part or whole (depending on the amount of rebooked dates) less the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 10% of the total amount paid. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after full payment has been received are non-refundable, unless the property is rebooked, in which case all or a partial amount paid will be returned less the cancellation fee. Trip cancellation insurance is an inexpensive way to protect your vacation investment. Call your own agent or ask us for our Red Sky Travel Insurance plan.
