MONTANA EQUINE LIFE COACHING

Equine Gestalt Coaching is an adventure and changes lives in a big way.  It creates extraordinary and profound life-changing moments and brings about a deep and lasting healing to each person.  It provides a resolution to unfinished business and emotional blockages. Clients are often amazed at the breakthroughs they experience vs years of traditional talk therapy.  The horse provides strength and healing, and the coach provides a safe place and support for the client to explore their life, make changes and heal.

The horses are active partners in coaching and healing.  Just with their presence, they give strength to find what is deep inside of us and make us self-aware.  By reading our energy they give us feedback as we search our souls, and they give us love and healing when we most need it.

Getting back to nature and spending time with animals is a traditional way of supporting mental health. People are attracted to spending time outdoors and away from the hustle and bustle of city life making Bonanza Creek, which is in the middle of nowhere, the perfect place for healing. The equine horse therapy business has been growing in leaps and bounds, especially in rural Montana.

More than half the people in Montana live in a community that does not have enough mental health care or none at all, including most of rural Montana. Montana has ranked in the top 5 for suicide rates in the nation for the past 30 years with two of the factors being social isolation and rural residency. Mental health encompasses our overall wellbeing and affects our lives in many ways.

The burden of mental illness in the United States is among the highest of all diseases, and mental disorders are among the most common causes of disability. Research shows that one in five adults in America experiences mental illness and over half of them are not receiving treatment. Equine gestalt therapy is one of the most effective treatments.

Mental health disorders also have a serious impact on physical health and are associated with the prevalence, progression, and outcome of some of today’s most pressing chronic diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. What we don’t heal comes out in lots of different ways.
