Neat place with an amazing view!

We loved it. Stayed here for a wedding, and it was perfect for a group.

We had a very awesome time being able to get away for the weekend and enjoy the hot tub and pool table! Will definitely be back in the future!

I loved the views and the house had a lot of fun things to do. We loved the pool table and hot tub. House is close to the city but very remote. Communication with the property manager was easy and fast.

Our whole family loved this house. The upstairs room was perfect for everyone to be able to do what interests each person while us all being in the same room. Pros - huge upstairs meeting area - large bedrooms - views were spectacular - jacuzzi was perfect - secluded Cons - super steep driveway - 2nd shower is tiny - pool table needs new felt

Quite and secluded but easy access. This was a get away for me and my family's families. The open space upstairs was perfect for getting together.

Nice stay for a family of 8 adults and one dog! As noted in some of the reviews you can hear the road but it wasn't a bother. The spacious second floor was comfortable and it was easy to prepare meals and eat together. We visited the Appalachian Center for Craft galleries and Harmony Lane Farm. I highly recommend both of those places.

The communication was excellent! Holly was able to answer any questions quickly and even helped us secure parking for our boat off premise!

A few hiccups but the management company was very helpful and responsive. The house and furniture are a bit dated but we had everything we needed. We cooked each night and the kitchen is well stocked. Great view of the lake. Space to spread out a bit and relax.

The house is up on a hill surrounded by trees. Very private. The roads are a little noisy but the privacy makes up for it. With the hot tub, big deck, and pool table it's a great place to unwind after hiking or being on the water.

It was the perfect location and the lake is beautiful. Our stay at the house was great and the perfect space for two couples and three kids! Plus, our dog was welcome. The hot tub was a nice addition and was very clean and easy to use. We liked that the four bedrooms were in the first floor and the kitchen and living space were upstairs; that made it easy when little ones needed to nap. The porch was a little more dated than expected and needs some routine upkeep. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and hope to return again!

the space you have with your guest is comfortable. it's secluded and holly is a great host that responds quicker than most. my family and I enjoyed the weekend here. it's close to a variety of stores also . and right across the road is the boat dock. I'd recommend to anyone. also pet friendly which was a big deal for us.

Everything about this house is as described. Management is wonderful and accommodating. They are quick to handle any concerns. The views are great - pictures do not do justice!

t was quite… the home was clean and smelled amazing… the hot tub was great and the perfect places to relax under the stars and the pool table was a huge hit! The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could think of for cooking and baking and even different drink cups… The only issue we had was the drive way it's literally on its own mountain and it was really steep. We were in a 12 passenger van and it was hard to get it up but we did… the check process was super easy.. definitely a 5 star… can wait to return

The driveway is up a very steep hill, but it’s worth the view when you get to the top! We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and the management team was responded quickly to our concerns.

You curve upward on the driveway and when you reach the top the world is yours! The house was very comfortable for 8 of us. The set up is perfect and we had everything we needed. We had a fire outside the whole time and could see the lake over the trees. Even though it is wonderfully by itself, the world is just a few minutes away. Hope others enjoy it as much ae we did.

It is a very clean house with awesome back porch views. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Only draw back for us is the noise of the highway traffic. You cannot hear it inside but sitting on the deck it is very loud. Also the master bedroom needs black out curtains. The thin red curtains do nothing to block out the light in the morning. Do not attempt to pull a boat up the driveway. The hair pin driveway curve will not work towing a boat.

The house is arranged in a bedroom/bath floor (bottom) and a living floor (kitchen, living room, dining room, pool table room and half bath). Stairs are very shallow which makes them steep for bad knee/hip issues. Roof and window leaked which didn’t affect the stay but that plus the poor general condition (deck needs sanding/painting, cheap slip covers, cheap dinnerware and flatware, etc.) was not what we expected in a $400+/night house IMHO. Beautiful lake view out the front, but they’ve let trees grow up at side by hot tub, obscuring lake. No network tv, apparently, just roku or similar. Management company very responsive.

Breathtaking views and perfect location. House was clean and extremely accommodating and enjoyable!

While it was adequate space for our group of 7, we were disappointed with the amount of neglect in some areas. Especially for the price, which is comparable to a week in Florida. There are funny enough VHS tapes, but no way to watch them so its really odd to keep them and have them take up so much space in the living room. There are no oven mitts or pot holders. There is mold all over the bathroom shower curtain in the hall shower. There is a super weird assortment of decor and furnishings that seemed much better in the photos. This was better than camping, which is what we have done in the past during Center Hill trips, but mainly because of the AC.

We came down for a long weekend and knew we wanted a great place close to adventure. Well this house sure did deliver! We were a short drive frome many beautiful parks & waterfalls as well as Nashville for some entertainment. We had a young couple with a new baby who spent more time just hanging out at the house enjoying the peace & quiet the area offered. Game night worked great with the bedrooms downstairs the noise didn't bother baby. Speaking of downstairs it was super convenient unloading the heavy suitcases directly to the rooms and not have to lug up any steps.
However please keep in mind the drive is very steep with a turn halfway up. It took us by surprise but was no biggie.

Cabin had a good location to Hurricane Marina. It was a good layout and slept our large group well. The general condition of the cabin needs a few updates and a deep clean. Also the kitchen needs some TLC. Grill propane would not get over 250 so we couldn’t grill as advertised which was a little frustrating. This is a fine lake cabin for a weekend but just know it’s not updated. View could be spectacular if some of the overgrown brush were cleaned up along edges.

We had a great week here. We had plenty of space for us to spread out, our dogs felt welcome. We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. The directions to the house were a little confusing, but we sorted them out. Thanks!

Upon our arrival at this home, we drove up a steep driveway! Once on top of the hill, we enjoyed a Center Hill Lake view all around us! The home itself was perfect! We enjoyed the fact that the TV's were older, instead, we had a campfire, explored the area! Management went above and beyond, bringing us a roaster and hand mixer so that we would prepare Easter dinner! They also, brought propane so that we could grill! Awesome stay!

The house was exactly as advertised and perfect for 7 adults. The house was clean, convenient to nearby state parks and exactly the right level of seclusion. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub and great views of the lake. The open upstairs floor plan allowed us to cook, hang out and socialize at the same time.

While it didn't have incredibly modern appliances or electronics, the wifi worked well, the pool table got plenty of use, and we brought a ton of board games to keep us busy (there are some already stocked in the home, too). Only inconvenience was that the shower didn't drain super fast. Otherwise, this property provided a great weekend getaway for our family (and pet) - we will definitely be looking to rebook in the future!

We loved our stay at the Lookout. The kids loved the hot tub. The adults loved the 180 view from the top deck. The kitchen and dining table were perfect for family dinners and all of us could fit around the tables. We rented a pontoon boat and spent the day floating our cares way. (Hidden Harbor Marina $275 +$100 for gas cheaper than $495 at Hurricane Mills) We played a round of golf at the Rivervwatch. They gave us discounts and an extra cart for mentioning that we stayed with Center Hill Chalets. It was a great time.
There were some issues. The deck was messy when we got there not one had blown the sticks and trash off before we got there. The basement AC was sketchy. We woke up burning up in the front rooms and freezing in the back rooms. It was not a big enough deal to fuss about. The house was clean-ish. There were cobwebs in the curtains and corners and the tubs were slow to drain. We had a great time and will be back soon. Great spot for a short vacation.
