Our family (6 adults/3 children under age four) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harbor cottage. The house provides ample room with a spacious kitchen/dining area, plenty of seating, comfy beds, and three private baths. The kitchen exceeds expectations in stock and quality of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, serving utensils, drinking glasses, and cutting knives. The location offered a peaceful getaway close to the marina and Storybook Trail which my 4-year-old granddaughter loved. I personally enjoyed sitting out on screened porch early in the morning with a cup of coffee. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at this property. The location of Center Hill Marina can't be beaten. Note that the property has a Keurig, so plan on packing some K cups or making a drive towards Smithville to find some.

We have absolutely no complaints about our stay here! Located just a couple of miles away from Center Hill Marina, we were thrilled about the proximity to everything we needed for our mini vacation. The home was immaculate and well stocked with the necessities we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub during our stay as well. If you plan to wash clothes, bring your own laundry detergent. The home came with bathroom toiletry samples, but we also brought our own. I rate this stay with 5 stars!

As a 6.5 month pregnant lady, this cabin was a fantastic and relaxing getaway. The backdoor access removed the need to travel up and down the stairs, and the bathtub in the master suite was to DIE for! Previous reviews stating that the kitchen was not stocked are definitely outdated. Everything you could possibly need was provided. All in all, very spacious for our five adult guests and everyone had nothing but good things to say.

Really enjoyed our stay even though it rained almost the entire time. Screen porch was very nice with a cup of hot coffee watching it rain. Great location and house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Will stay here again on our next trip.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful vacation at Harbor Cottage and look forward to returning some time in the future, We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and living room fireplace. We found the beds to be exceptionally comfortable and the home to be very roomy and well stocked (except the kitchen was missing some essentials such as a pot scrubber, sponge and pancake turner). We highly recommend this location.

This house is nicely decorated. We were surprised that it was better than is shown in the listing but I am assuming they will update their photos soon. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We enjoyed the volleyball court out front and it was an easy drive to the marina. We loved the screened in porch. Our complaints about the house would be there was no spatula, no whisk, no dish scrubber, no small dish towel for washing dishes, and only 5 mugs...all of which were very inconvenient for making breakfast, enjoying coffee or being able to wash dishes and scrub pans. As much as we appreciated the location, decor and comfort of the house, these things were practical essentials that should be provided by the owner. Our other complaint would be with Center Hill Chalets. We found a few times that responses to our messages were greatly delayed or not answered at all...some of which were things we really needed to know. That was very frustrating. I feel like we would have gotten more attentive responses if we had been dealing directly with the owner.

The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped! The kitchen is probably one of the best we've experienced with vacation rentals. We had 5 guests and it was very comfortable. Convenient to Center Hill Marina. Nestled in the trees, the screened in porch is a lovely spot for morning coffee. Highly recommend!

My family and I recently stayed at the Harbor Cottage over the holidays and we were very pleased. The home is very well maintained with 3 nice bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The living room, master bedroom/bath, kitchen, and 1/2 bath are down stairs and then you have 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom upstairs along with a nice loft area with a sleeper sofa.
It was nice being able to send the kids upstairs and the adults had the downstairs. Overall, the house is in excellent condition and it is in a nice gated community.
My only complaint is that the house only has one TV in the living room. I would highly suggest that another TV be added at least to the master bedroom.
I hope to be able to come back in the summer months!

My Florida and Michigan family met here to experience the solar eclipse. This was an awesome place for a family to stay! There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We even had a little frog who thought the bathroom was awesome!
