This property is absolutely amazing! It is set up more like a resort! Each bedroom upstairs has its own bathroom with hair dryer, a closet with great space and hangers, television and very comfortable beds. You get the feel of being at a private resort with your family members. The outside area is amazing, beautiful pool, spa and cabanas. The fire pit and outdoor dining table is absolutely beautiful. First family vacation we have never turned the TV on. We just loved hanging out in the outdoor area. Double washers and dryers are a great addition and the CrossFit gym was top notch! When we come back to this area we would never want to stay anywhere else because nothing would compare! The location is amazing it is near any activity you would want to do in the San Diego area. Close to La Jolla too! We hired Chef Joann to come in and cook for us two of the nights which were amazing! Jack, the owner is very quick to respond to any question. He also was awesome in providing recommendations for anything! The property is immaculate and sleek but also felt like a home. Beautiful area for daily walks and runs. Easy access to stores, restaurants, bars. Tons of stuff less than half a mile. If you’re looking in the San Diego area look no further you will not find any property like this! It was absolutely stunning and we were very sad to leave.

Perfect neighborhood, close to everything in San Diego but far enough away to have a chill time. Excellent space for multi-family or, in our case, a business retreat. Jack and his gorgeous property both deserve a 10/10 all the way around. The kitchen, gym, indoor/outdoor space, pool oasis, and shared spaces are all kept clean and stylish. The highlight for us was that every room had an ensuite restroom. The circle driveway was also great for extra parking. Jack is a responsive and helpful host with a lovely property. We can\'t wait to go back!

Great property worked extremely well for our visit, especially in proximity to all our destinations within the city.

This property is a dream. We spent a week here over Thanksgiving with 14 people, including eight adults and six kids ages 7-17. Everyone had plenty of space inside the house and the outdoor space makes you feel like you’re at a 5-star resort with the pool, hot tub, cabanas and lawn for Cornhole! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the very well-appointed kitchen, which had a huge refrigerator and freezer and plenty of cookware. Jack was a great host and very responsive to anything we needed, including recommending an amazing masseuse who came to the house to give a few of the adults massages. The location was convenient to the airport and also close by little Italy with great restaurants, and walking distance to the zoo. We would love to return to this house!

Jack was always a text message away with any concern and came over quickly when something needed attention. We had 10 people over 18+, 4 from 3 to 5 yrs, and one 11 yr old. We did bring in extra beds for the littles. Never felt that you didn\'t have personal space. Beautiful pool/could walk to zoo/ Balboa Park. Jack bought us a corn hole game so we enjoyed the pool, spa, fire pit, grill, and yard space. Can\'t go wrong here

My multigenerational family was based here for a week on the occasion of my daughter’s wedding. This property was a quiet oasis that we could retreat to after the craziness of the celebrations which went on all week throughout the city. This truly is a five-star property and is every bit as beautiful as the pictures on the website. There were ten of us and it never felt crowded as there are many little nooks to retreat to if you want some privacy. The house is well equipped with all mod cons and ample linens and towels. The location is in a quiet neighborhood in the center of the city within a 5-10 minute drive of everything. The affable host Jack, was very welcoming and very responsive to any requests. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone seeking a relaxing five-star resort-like experience

Throughout the trip it was seemless and easy to use the house, was dog friendly, and the owner provided options for us to hire a massage therapist to come in that was fantastic!

This property is as amazing as the presented beautiful pictures! We had a big group of our adult children and young grandchildren. Everyone had their own ensuite which is what I was specifically looking for. We loved congregating every night at the pool, spa, and fire pit, as it\'s all perfectly interactive! The kids loved it almost more than the beach! Definitely worth the $. Thanks, Jack for your attention to detail!

We had the best time at the Chateau! The house is amazing. The property is very pristine and perfectly nestled on a quiet street. We visited with our family with adults and kids with ages ranging from 1-15. The bedrooms are spacious with very nice bathrooms. There are 3 washers and dryers and linens and towels for days. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need. We could not get the kids out of the pool and hot tub! They also loved the video games! The seating areas in the kitchen and den are huge and can accommodate a big group. The gym is fully equipped with weights, a squat rack, bands, rings, a row machine, and a stationary bike. The location is very convenient for everything one would want to do in San Diego. Jack, the owner, is so nice and easy to communicate with. He met us at the house and gave us a tour and was available for any questions. This house is perfect for a dream vacation!

The beautiful property is exactly as pictured & Jack was a fabulous & conscientious host. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to come together as a family we live in 5 different States! Jack kindly mentioned the importance of being respectful of the peace & quiet of the residential neighborhood. We also used the catering services of Chef Danielle Sharesse who was FABULOUS and knew the house well. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. !!!

We had a FANTASTIC time in San Diego staying at this VRBO. The home had everything we needed to ensure our stay was filled with fun and luxury. Will re-book this stay again in 2023. FABULOUS

House: you (or your kids that love to play in the pool) might not leave; well-equipped kitchen; and AV amenities; behind the traditional facade is a comfortable modern get-away. Location: in the middle of everything; whether you want Balboa Park, the beach, downtown, Little Italy . . . all a short drive away. We’ll be back!

The Home is exactly like the pictures portrayed. Very good use of space for family to gather and entertain. The pool and Spa area is awesome with total privacy. Home automation was easy to use and everything we needed was easy to find and use. Jack is very attentive and I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a fabulous location, privacy, and fun 10 minutes away from everything you’d want to do in San Diego.

Fantastic property. We stayed with two other families, and it was a perfect spot for rest and relaxation while being close to all that San Diego has to offer. The outdoor space was outstanding!!! Jack was an incredible host.

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was at Jack’s property. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 80 and everyone was thrilled with the house and all it had to offer. We all loved the pool, hot tub, and cabanas, but the CrossFit gym was a huge plus for the adults. Jack was so helpful when needed and has exceptional attention to detail. If your dates are available to rent this property, do not hesitate!

Firstly, I want to say thank you to Jack, the most gracious homeowner-host as he was always very responsive from my initial booking and throughout our stay. At check-in, Jack met with me and toured me through this beautiful home to ensure I knew how to operate everything. This is a \"smart\" home so the tour was very beneficial. I also felt very comfortable with the technology aspect of the home and I am not super savvy when it comes to technology. I live in Southern California, but wanted to find a home that offered the amenities of a resort for my friends and families. This home was absolutely stunning, spacious fully stocked, and functional. We spent the majority of our time poolside; so, so nice! The backyard is beautifully designed as an inviting, outdoor living space. We spent a lot of our time outside. The weather was beautiful, the backyard is a very large space, it is private so we could hang out, socialize, and dine outside as well as inside so easily. While there is a lot to do in the area and be so close to downtown and San Diego attractions, we did not want to leave this house. Everyone had an amazing fun-filled, indulgent time and thoroughly enjoyed all this home affords.

We had a great stay at the property. The pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor space were amazing. The home easily accommodated our family and the huge kitchen was a major plus. When a few issues did arise, the owner Jack was able to come by and help us out. My whole family wants to rent the property again and come back to San Diego. If you’re looking for a vacation home in the San Diego area, I don’t think it gets much better than this!

5-star for sure! Arriving at this exceptional home was beyond our expectations. People often write that pictures don\'t do a home justice but that is very much the fact with this home. The grounds are amazing and the pool was so relaxing with the cabanas. You truly feel you’re at a resort. Plenty of space for many cooks in this kitchen too and we loved the ability to open all the doors in the kitchen and have breezes blowing through the first floor, especially each evening as it cooled down. The outdoor fire pit was a great gathering spot at night, in particular for those enjoying the huge hot tub. There truly is so much space at this home and the setting is so private we could not have been happier at another location. One final comment on the house, we\'re a family of coffee drinkers and the multiple options of expresso, cappuccino and regular coffee cup serving machine were the BEST!! We never wasted coffee and we always had a hot cup of Joe whenever we wanted it, morning, noon, and night! I want to extend my deepest appreciation to Jack. He was immediately responsive to all my questions. And I mean immediately, within in minutes he would text back with answers and guidance no matter the time of day. Jack, you were the best of the best hosts! Overall comment - I have been renting on average 2 vacation homes/year for over 30 years now and I can honestly state this home is in my top 5. You will not be dissatisfied if you rent, I highly recommend it, and enjoy it soon, it will not disappoint!!!

Amazing house !! Awesome experience !! Booked a weekend for our company and a few guys in our network we do business with. A great guys\' weekend! The owner had options for a private chef and massage poolside. This is what a weekend getaway is all about. Spacious house, amazing pool, and hot tub. Great sound system throughout the home. The finishes are very modern and clean. No expense was spared in building this home. If you stay at this home, you sure won’t be disappointed. You will be coming back, just as we will be !!!!

We stayed at this beautiful resort-like home to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The owner Jack was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Including access to watch Saturday night boxing and the UFC fight. This is a one-of-a-kind property you must see for yourself! Jack spared no expense in his home. From the impressive bifold glass doors throughout the kitchen and living room to the stunning backyard. The property was gorgeous! Ideal for entertaining! My family and I enjoyed all the amenities the home offered from the CrossFit gym, to the outdoor sauna and everyone’s favorite the resort-style backyard with the three cabanas and a large pool and jacuzzi. My teens including myself could not stop taking photos. It’s not often we are wowed and impressed by a beautiful home. Thank you Jack for the amazing experience! We look forward to returning soon!

Starting with the communication with the owner prior to arrival and then checking out, was so smooth. Jack met up with me at check-in and toured the property with me to make sure I knew how to use everything in the house. The historical house just went through a gorgeous remodel and all appliances, to home equipment were all smart products or high-tech. His house was beautifully designed with artwork but kept a modern touch. The best part about the stay was the backyard, we had a family gathering and never left the pool/Sauna for 3 days. The second best thing is the location of the house, we were minutes from downtown where there was a lot of outdoor dining. I highly recommend staying here and I will be renting soon again. We would come back over and over as this property truly allows you to be disconnected from the outside world with top-notch amenities.
