We are so blessed to stay with GMR when we visit Helen. We had planned to camp at Unicoi but one of our kiddos got sick and with the cold weather we didn’t want to risk him getting sicker. Sherry is always to helpful and she was able to get us into the cabin on the morning we planned to check in after work. We enjoyed the cabin and it was close to downtown which was so nice. We will definitely continue to stay with GMR on all our future trips.

Great dog friendly cabin. this is a lovely quiet area, but not to far from town is you want to shop and go out to eat.

It was a delightful stay. The cabin was clean and exactly like the pictures. Overall it was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. Only two things I would like to make future guests aware of: the shower is very small and there were no instructions for the fireplace. Other than that, it was close to town but was still quiet and peaceful.

The cabin was almost like the pictures on VRBO, except for the rug. We were disappointed that the fireplace had electric logs and did not really put out any heat.

The management company was VERY responsive. The followed up to ensure I had the door code (which I didn’t as the email went to spam). There was water in the bottom of the refrigerator when we arrived. We reported it and they came right away.

The kitchen had sparse furnishings (and cheap) but were adequate.

It is walking distance to the “main drag”, but not walking distance to the downtown area where all the bars and restaurants are.

Overall, it was as I expected and good value for the money.

Thanks for your honest review! We find that most guests don't use kitchens often during their stay but there are some owners who are set up particularly well for cooking. Call us direct for your next stay and we will find the best match for the amenities you want!

Beautiful, clean, nice quiet. The customer service was always very nice & friendly. The only problem we had was the new “10 digit door lock system”. Locked myself when I put the dogs in the cabin, shut the door so they wouldn’t run back out, got some of our luggage & when I tried opening the door, found out I was LOCKED OUT with dogs inside. Glad I still had my phone on me to locate the email again to get the “10 digit code”. Didn’t feel comfortable enough with that issue to go out the front door & sit to enjoy the view. We did put a piece of paper between the door jam & lock, to keep it from locking us out. Used the back door just to take the dogs out for their business. No “special” door lock....but no key either!

We arrived to our cabin which was located right ad you get into Helen. Yet the cabin has a nice wooded location that is quiet and peaceful place to get away. We loved the covered porch with swing ro rest your weary feet after shopping all day. The cabin was clean and comfortable with anything you need to make coffee or cook if you like. We loved the loft room and the pretty high beams and fireplace. The Girls at Rental office were great and easy no hassle booking. They accommodated all our wishes and were polite. They even called to make sure we were happy and asked if we needed anything. Great customer service. I would definitely stay here again. And definitely use Georgia Mount6 Rentals again.

The cabin is in a great location but it need better lighting a little dim inside. Also the cabin could use a little TLC (toilet seat, tub, armor door in master bedroom...)

The location was ideal. The pictures on VRBO do not represent the unit. There is no rug, nice item to make it cozy, bedspreads are very meager, the silverware, mugs glasses are from garage sales, for a party of four we had one small soap, one hand towel, four wash cloths, six bath towels. The shower is a disgrace,The bathroom is from the 1960’s and the kitchen appliances from the 1980’s. It is blantly obvious that the owner is only interested in profit. The unit was listed as $121.00 per night but the final cost was $443.00. That is false advertising!!! We will never use your services again or recommend you to friends.

My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It was just as pictured, very clean and so cozy. Great location close to town and easy to get around.
Will tell friends. Only thing needed was a book to instruct how to operate tv and maybe local places to eat and visit. The Vahalla Resort was a great place to eat, not much on German food. The local waterfalls and trails were very nice. Babyland in Cleveland was free and worth the short drive if you were into cabbage patch dolls!! We visited a few wineries. the mountain roads were very easy to get around.

Our purpose was a weekend getaway with other adult family members. Pics were accurate. It was clean, quiet, and tucked away, yet still so very close to town. We would definitely stay there again. Great atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for. Evenings were great on the porch swing and rockers.

Overall would have been a 5 if the divider for the whirlpool tub was included. It was seen in the photos when choosing the rental. We didn't want to use the tub without it. It was a two family vacation rental which would have made its use uncomfortable.

Overall the house is very nice, clean, and the beds are comfortable. We had minor maintenance issues that the rental company addressed immediately and did not affect our stay.
Just beware that the parking area is shared by all 4 cabins, but the spot in from of D is very tight. We drove a large truck and had trouble parking it at Cabin D since there is no way to turn around. We ended up backing up most of the drive to park.
Since the cabins are very close, anyone outside is right next to you. A family rented all 3 of the other cabins and had small children while we were there. They were nice, but not quiet and remained outside the entire time. We were not able to sit on our porch or be outside without a lot of noise.

Georgia Mountain Rentals did and amazing job of matching our needs with the cabins available. These were perfect. The cabins are just minutes from downtown Helen, but far enough to be away from the noise, traffic, and crowds. Service was excellent from the first call to check out. Highly recommend.

The overall experience was great the cabin was clean and in a good location. The only thing we can say that can be updated was the bed was not very comfortable and the cooking utensils need to be updated. Overall it was a great place to rent and great visit. There is lots to do in Helen and around Helen, Ga.

The cabin is very comfortable and the location is terrific! We went through hurricane Zeta while in Helen, and the property manager was on top of renter safety. We received a phone call to alert us about potential issues, and they delivered a flashlight in case of power outage.
The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable and the porch swing and rockers a plus!

We stayed in Cabin D for 3 night in August 2020. It is in a small cluster with 3 other cabins, so not secluded per se, but is not on a main road, so I would consider it private. It was clean and had all that was advertised. We would stay again.

We overall had a great time. The master bed was super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! The only cons were, it could’ve been better stocked. Pots and skillets and silverware is well used, not even salt and pepper. Hint: bring ur own. It wasn’t what I expected for a rental that said it was an equipped kitchen.

Our week-end was more than expected. Reunion was great as always. Nice to see loved ones and catch up. The Cabin Country Charm D was absolutely amazing. Tucked away from noise of town but 1/2 mile from heart of Helen. Cabin was spacious, decorated nicely and stocked of all needs. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed the loft bedroom. Guest Services were professional and helpful.

Property was exactly as advertised. Cabin was nice, it was conveniently located, and offered privacy. Management company called us shortly after we checked in to make sure everything was ok. Next time we go to Helen we will not have to search for a place to stay - we have already found it!

Very nice cabin! Cabin is located in a quite area that is not far from town. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was very clean. We were so thankful our small dog was allowed there too. Nice place to stay for sure!

We rented all 4 cabins. It was perfect because we had 4 families. Each family had our their own space yet we were all together. It was great for all the kids and the adults relaxed on the porch. The cabins were clean and decorated tastefully. I had Cabin D and the king size bed was very comfortable!!

Perfect for walking to and from the village. Nice to get the exercise after eating and drinking. Uphill on a dirt road. NOT for people whom aren't sure footed.

The only suggestion I can offer is an upgrade on mattresses and pillows. Otherwise lovely cabin and I am sure we will return.
