The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We loved how cozy it felt nestled into the woods. The rental company was very easy to work with and even checked on us after we arrived. Our only complaint was that the hot tub never really felt "hot," but it was warm and still very relaxing. Overall, we were very happy and can't wait to return again!

Buckhead Lodge is perfect for families of 3-6. It's quiet and peaceful, but still within easy distance of local attractions. It is kept clean and well maintained. The road in has been patched up so access is easy now.

We loved this cabin and felt very much at home. We made good use of the fire pit, hot tub and pool table. We went to do different areas each day and this location made everything easy. The property management group were outstanding. The only drawback is the kitchen. While well stocked, it is tiny and there is nowhere to store any non refrigerated items.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Buckhead Lodge. Loved the peace and quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch with our coffee watching the deer in the yard. At night we'd sit on the swing upstairs watching the sunset and clouds roll into the mountains. We looked forward to the spa after long hikes at the nearby falls. Overall, the property was well maintained.

My wife and I both had a rough 3 weeks at work and it was great to get away and shut out work. We have stayed here previously for our 21st anniversary and knew this was the place to avoid work for a few days. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks enjoying adult beverages, the fire on cool evenings, the hot tub, and a couple of lunches in Helen. We will definitely return for our 22nd anniversary later this year.

Love this place! Multiple reviews mention the road driving up. Don’t let it deter you from staying here. Our Mazda CX-5 had no issues. The potholes are easily avoidable. The game room was fun for all of us. The view was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. We didn’t want to leave. We would absolutely stay here again!

Convenient to Helen, Cleveland and the mountains, though not in the mountains proper. Buckhead is three story, top floor has bedrooms and some view of mountains about 10+ miles away. Rocker on porch. Finished basement is pool and pacman video game and hot tub outside. Hosts appear to have anticipated about most anything you might want to ask. If you have low vehicle, such as a sedan, you need to take the road leading to the property very carefully, there are some deep potholes for about 50 yds. You can make it, just have to be attentive. Property management is professional and courteous and contract is actually quite equitable and everything is disclosed up front. There were no surprises. (I read these things.) Yes we would stay again.

We had a nice time at the Buckhead Lodge. The outdoor balcony area had a lot of cobwebs. It would have been nice if it was cleaner. Also, there are several potholes in the road getting up to the house. I was a bit concerned for my vehicle. The DVD player in the main living space was not working. The indoor space was great. It was clean and besides the above issues we enjoyed our time there.

We were very satisfied with the Buckhead Lodge Cabin. The cabin was equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was in a perfect location to go to an incredible amount of hiking trails, waterfalls , and cute little towns like Dahlonega and Helen. We will be back for sure!

The cabin is about 15 minutes from most of Helen, and the route is pretty straightforward. The only difficulty is the last bit of road - it's paved, but is steep and has some large potholes. Perfectly drivable in a regular car (no 4wd needed), but you'll want to go slow, & probably plan to arrive while it's still light so you can see everything. This cabin was spotlessly cleaned, the outdoor space was excellent. Super-kid friendly setup as well.

We visited the Buckhead Lodge Oct 15th - 19th and had a wonderful experience! The cabin is very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The views from the upstairs bedrooms were gorgeous and something I looked forward to every morning to see the sunrise. The game room and hot tub were just an added bonus. We can’t wait to bring our kids back with us next time to enjoy this place together.

I took my family and I to a little vacation to the Helen mountains, and found this cabin rental, and I do not regret that decision. The cabin itself was super clean and had everything and more than what we expected. The view off of the balconies on the cabin was beautiful. The cabin and area was great. Really enjoyed it it quite and peaceful. Cabin was clean and cozy. Only issue was the driveway. This is not the property owner problem. Mother Nature due to the rain had wash a ditch where the road goes in to drive so was a little tricky to get car in but made it work. Again this was not the owners issues no one can stop Mother Nature. But we loved our stay and would go again.

The cabin so clean and adorable. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is located close to Helen and Dahlonega. We enjoyed the fire pit outside, the gas fireplace inside, rocking in the chairs on the deck while drinking our coffee and admiring the beautiful scenery. We will be back to stay again.

Peaceful location. Highlight of our stay was feeding carrots to the horses and donkeys on the drive into the cabin. This cabin has everything! The beds and even the pullout out bed was very comfortable.

The cabin is cozy and has a great view. The only problem I experienced was the hot tub would not heat up. After calling management they sent someone out to check on it very quickly and resolved the problem. The swing on the top deck has an amazing view and is very comfortable.

This cabin was nothing short of amazing. Very clean and stocked with all supplies needed for our stay. Only thing we brought was food, plates, utensils, cups and other essentials. They provided the pots & pans. We didn't use the ovens or grill because we brought our air fryer and waffle maker( which they actually had a waffle maker as well so we didn't need to bring ours. During our stay they called and checked up on us to make sure everything was going fine. Trust and believe we will be back! Thanks so much for the warming welcome and stay.

Just returned from a full week at Buckhead Lodge and enjoyed every minute. The views are as good as everyone says and the location is ideal. Its just far enough off the main road to make you feel secluded with very few neighbors and very little noise. We had 2 small maintenance issues which were resolved quickly. The cabin is very well stocked and has most everything you could need. If I had anything to complain about it would be the stairs could be a problem for some people, the pool table is a bit slanted to one side, and the curtains in the master are not "black out" type so you will be up with the sunrise every morning. But your photos will be incredible. I would definitely stay here again.

Love the cabin, the location and view. As I was staying there from Sat - Mon, I was always finding new details that gave the place an awesome wilderness vibe. It had decor on light switch, lamps, furniture and even birdhouses on top of kitchen cabin. The only three issues I had was kitchen needed a medium frying pan, the bed needs a better mattress, and should build a nice fire pit for the open area they have. But I’m rating this as an overalll 5 star experience and highly recommend staying here iif you are visiting Helen, GA.

Wonderful time with our teenage sons. Views were everything we expected. We enjoyed all the extras, pool table, hot tub and games. The kitchen had what we needed to help make Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals.

Beautiful long range view on all three levels. Very, Very clean and well decorated with nice furniture and fixtures. Hot tub was very clean and smelled fresh as well. King size bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Fairly new nice grill which we did not use but I checked it out anyway. The cabin is located in a great area to visit Helen, wineries and tons of hiking trails such as Raven Cliff Falls. I have seen post that there were steep stairs to the bedrooms upstairs but they seemed normal to us. I also saw a negative post about the road up to the cabin. It is only about 1.1 miles off the main road and all of it except the last 10th (0.1) of a mile is basically flat. The last short part is up a relative steep but paved one lane road. My 4-cylinder and I didn’t have a problem with it at all. We have rented several cabins across north Georgia and VRBOs in California and this cabin has been the cleans one we have ever stayed in. We will be back for sure!

We had a great visit. The cabin is beautiful; the view is lovely, and the wild-life is endearing. The hot-tub is so relaxing, I hated to get out of it. Only one thing could have been better, the gas grill had no gas tank or tray and we would have liked to have used it. I'd recommend. We will go back.

We have been renting cabins in the area for 10 years and we have stayed in some awesome places but I'd have to say that Buckhead Lodge was one of the nicest if not the best of all.

The buckhead lodge was Beautiful and amazing. We loved the cabin. And the views were breathtaking. We will request this cabin again.

We had a wonderful time staying here over Spring Break. The cabin was perfect! Beautiful view, stocked kitchen, pool table downstairs. We had a great time and hope to return!

Georgia Mountain Rental's staff is the best. I called them on the phone, and they worked with me to find the right cabin, which fit my desire. They even call you back, and that makes it feel very personable. The cabin was very clean and organized. All my needs were met while I was there. The staff even call to assure I had everything I need, and if there was anything more I might need, just give them a call. I have rental many cabins from Georgia Mountain rentals, and I have been very happy each and every time.

Unfortunately only was able to stay the weekend. Enjoyed the cabin and surrounding area. We had a variety of wildlife come past while out on the deck and in the hot tub.

Cabin was super clean except the sheets in the master bedroom. Check I was easy and the view in the morning was absolutely amazing. The person who was on staff to help was also amazing. Answered the phone and was extremely helpful. The one amenity that I was looking forward to, the hot tub, did not work. It took all weekend to get it hot. Was not hot until the day we were leaving so did not get to use it. That was disappointing.. other than that I would definitely stay again..

When we pulled up to the house and walked in, We felt like we had been there before due to the virtual home tour. The house was exactly like it showed on the website, very clean and a cozy feel to it. The location was ideal that put us 15 minutes out of anywhere we needed to be and 30 minutes from the futherest point we traveled, but ride through the mountains on a fall day was part of our plans. Overall great check in and check out via a phone call checking in and checking out on their app on my phone. We look forward to the next time we are able to come over and stay again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at BuckHead. I am also very impressed with the customer service that the ladies provided before, during and after our stay. The cabin was exactly what we paid for! Happy Anniversary to my husband and I! We will be returning within the next like month with our children!

It was amazing. We came down for a family members wedding in Dahlonega. It was such a beautiful little gem in the middle of the woods. We all enjoyed our stay the only complaint was we didn't have enough time to just enjoy the cabin and the view. We will be coming back to stay.

This little place was perfectly clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was clean and inviting. Owners are exceptionally communicative and helpful.

The cabin was beautiful with everything you need to have a great vacation. Far enough away from Helen that you aren't overrun with tourist. The deer showed up almost every morning or evening and my wife discovered that they love apples...
The cabin was well appointed and very clean with the exception of some spider webs. I know they are diligent little pest. I took a broom and knocked down the ones I could reach.
We would definitely recommend this property and will visit again.

Perfect amenities to have a fantastic stay. Secluded to have privacy but close enough to the city to enjoy the sites. Everything needed to stay inside and enjoy some dinner or just relax. We can’t wait to go back!!

As always, a fantastic time. My girlfriend and I have stayed at Buck head Lodge a handful of times and will not go anywhere else when in Helen. The cabin is in a peaceful and beautiful location. I strongly recommend staying there, you will not be disappointed.
