Great location for our family getaway. Easily walkable to the beach, and on a quiet dead end road so there was zero traffic which was great since we had little ones with us. Pictures & description were spot on. Thanks for letting us stay, we will be back.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Antiques were of the sturdy sort, a relief with dogs swinging tails. All the extras to care for pets and an infant; nice not to have to bring crib or high chair. So many entertainment options, and fun things to see/do locally as well. Nice to be able to seat all 12 of us at the table comfortably, and to have plenty of storage space in kitchen, as well as all the cooking gear we needed, since we ate in. Neighborhood was quiet. Great place for hanging out and spending time together! Loved that it was decorated for Christmas, since this was our Christmas gift to each other. Appreciated the prompt, responsive communication. We'd do it again!!

The house and location could not be better! We especially liked the trail to the beach that winds through the woods and protects you from the wind. The numerous types of mushrooms were amazing and we looked up the names of them with a field guide we found on the house bookshelves. All the kids spent most of their time in the basement playing games and watching movies in the theater. It’s really nice having a somewhat quiet main level for the adults to chill.The grocery store nearby is convenient but expensive so you’ll save a lot of money by getting your provisions in order before arrival.Overall, a very good experience with everything provided when you arrive.

Great location, large home with may things to do both inside and out. We visited in winter and it was great for our family gathering. Hope to return and experience it in the warmer months as well

This was our 4th summer staying at the Bloomer Mansion and our family LOVED it! It is the perfect place for all 18 of us! Great service from the staff. Very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Our marriage group of 5 couples gathering for MLK weekend for over 25 years has been at Bloomers for nearly 15 of those years. Great accommodations now that most rooms have a King bed. Plenty of gathering space for games, meals, and Movie watching in the new theatre. Issues with poor location of electrical outlets and bedside tables in some rooms for those with Cpap machines

Great place for a family reunion. Plenty of room and more than enough "toys" to keep everyone occupied. Appreciated the well equipped kitchen and having two fridges. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived, but that was taken care of promptly.

We have a family reunion in the Bloomer Mansion every July and it's perfect for all ages. Plus the dining table seats all 15 of us. This year we made s'mores every night at the fire pit while Portland baked at 101 degrees. Even used the hot tub on cool nights. Booked it for next year again.

We were a family of 11 staying for 5 days. This place was SO perfect for us. Everything about it was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Kids spent the whole time downstairs playing all the games and watching movies in the theatre. The Butler's Pantry was wonderful as we shoved all the food and snacks in that area. Felt like you'd traveled back in time with all the wonderful antiques everywhere. The place was clean and well supplied. Having 2 fridges was really nice too! Only negative were the mosquitos as they were relentless. Would definitely stay here again!!

Bloomer Mansion was perfect for our big family reunion! Great location with easy 10 min walk to the beach on a wooded path or street. Also very close to shopping, restaurants, etc. We really had everything we needed to play, cook, and eat together! The piano, and downstairs theater and "arcade" was especially welcome with rainy weather! Also lots of toys (even duplos!) for the youngest family members. Lots of food prep supplies were provided and we really appreciated having 2 big refrigerators. Our only complaint is that only one of the 2 bathrooms upstairs had good water pressure and was easy to regulate the water temp. Definitely recommend the mansion, and would rent it again!

If you are looking for a nostalgic, almost mystical, vacation rental, you need to book Bloomer Mansion. This place has an aura of other periods in time. The main floor is a step back in time. If you are a senior like my wife and I, then it is your grandmother’s or great-grandmother’s décor, wallpaper, and window dressings. The wide stairway descends from the second floor into a large sitting area with a fireplace and a grand piano. The narrower Butler stairways to the upper and lower floors and the dumbwaiter invite observation of past luxury. My wife and I stayed in the Butler’s quarters, just off the kitchen. Bloomer Mansion just has a really cool vibe.
However, not just for old folks; there are several amenities for all ages. We were a family of 15 people. The lower level afforded all kinds of modern-day recreation: foosball, pinball machine, Air Hockey, Pac-Man video arcade game, and pool table were all well used and enjoyed by the Grandchildren. And the mini-movie theatre was as comfortable and modern as any multi-plex.
The home is very compartmentalized, as houses of 100 years ago typically were. So, the adult children and teenage grandchildren doused the lights at night and played a murder mystery game, sleeking through hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and an assortment of nooks while our niece and nephew played Munster-type foreboding tunes on the piano. A horror movie-type experience for all.
Outside of the home, there were plenty of activities as well. We were able to go razor clamming and got our limits. Being gold prospecting hobbyists, we collected some beach sand at Cape Disappointment State Park’s Benson Beach, only two miles from the house. Processed some very tiny pieces of gold we from 3 gallons of black sands.
So, the place is pricey, and as other reviews have mentioned, don’t expect a five-star Ritz-Carlton experience. That is not what this is. It is a very unapologetic, unique experience.

Plenty of room for everyone. Lots to do with the games and yard play area. The propane fireplace is nice. The kitchen is fully stocked!! The stairs for elders is a little bit of a set back....but we old folks managed! Nice quiet place. The trail to the beach was flooded....oh well.....next time!!

Bloomer Mansion was the perfect location to rent for our wedding weekend! We originally decided to go with this location due to the size and amenities offered by the property. My Wife and I wanted a place our immediate family could be together for our big weekend and in one central location. We could not have asked for a better place. Not only was the venue big enough to hold our wedding reception (about 25 people) but it served as the main hub for our wedding weekend with plenty of things to do. The movie theater was a surprise addition from when we booked, and we were able to screen the new Suicide Squad movie with friends the day it was released. The various games and arcades kept our guests entertained and was one of the focal points of the mansion. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather; we were unable to hold our wedding ceremony on the beach as planned however the living room was large enough to serve as a backup plan for our big day. The weekend was mostly a huge success, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. The property is in decent shape for its age however it is a bit dated. There were a few minor issues such as the kitchen sink backing up, one of the recliners was broken and the amount of garbage under the sofa in the living room was bad for the amount of cleaning fee the property charges. The only major disappointment was the hot tub. We were told in April that it would be replaced by the time we arrived in August which was correct. The problem was it was small, hardly 3 people could fit (in a place meant for 14 people, this is tiny), the surface inside was like rough plastic, it was not comfortable to sit in for a long period of time as you kept "scratching" yourself when moving about. Also, the location of the ladder to enter is placed at the exact deepest end of the tub making it almost impossible to enter from the ladder side. I would highly recommend this place for your family vacation as it has plenty of space to celebrate.

We absolutely loved our time spent at the bloomer mansion. The house was very clean! Lots of extra towels(something we don't often see in our past rentals) there was something for everyone in our group to do! The bulters pantry was well stocked! It's location was amazing. It was quiet no one bothered us at all and we got to see wild life(a young buck, baby fox & lots of chipmunks) the decor was perfect for my moms wedding pictures. We are already trying to decide when we can all come back.

We were pleased to find the screening room and the addition of a pinball machine to the game rooms. My grandsons loved being in the ocean and the game room, it may be a toss-up which they enjoyed more. The adults enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, even a salad spinner in the butler's pantry! The rooms and beds were comfortable. We explored the surrounding area. We had everything we needed. At four days our stay was too short. We hope to return in the future. We would be happy to stay here again or at another Bloomer Estates property. They were responsive, helpful, and pleasant.

The management readily let us change our date from January to March, 2021. Our family, including our 3 daughters, spouses, and grandchildren had ample room to eat, sleep, and have fun. The house included a toy room, downstairs sports room, game counsel, and laundry.The area outside had a firepit, picnic table,play equipment for young children, and sport games. The nearby area has several beaches. Although the nearest beach was a short walk away, we would recommend rainboots in case of mud. If you are interested in antiques, the mansion has some interesting display items throughout the house, too! The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking appliances and cookware, and there were plenty of bathroom and bedroom linens. We hope to rent the mansion again sometime in the future!

This is a great place for a large crowd. There are lots of amenities and even access to the ocean and beach. The kitchen has lots of pots, pans and other necessities to feed your army. The common spaces are big enough for all that come.

This house was AMAZING! We have a large family and it was perfect for our get together of Parents, kids grandkids and even a granddog! The main floor is great for the gatherings and conversations with a table big enough for all. The Basement is a great space for those wanting to plat games and not interrupt conversation. The Beach is a short walk through the woods and the town itself is friendly with just what you need.

We rented the Bloomer Mansion 4 years ago, for my 50th. At that time, my husband asked if we could go back for his 50th. Sadly, he passed away before that date but we rented it anyway, to honor his request.

They made a lot of changes to the yard, were were amazing. The old boat that was out there is gone, they put in a full on play place for the kids. We had 7 kids with us, so it seemed like it was constantly in use.

It is so close to everything, just a short drive to downtown Long Beach and about a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Will be back again.

Everything went better than we expected. The home was excellent, everything about it was fabulous. Outside the yard and play areas were wonderful. The path to the beach was great (although the mosquitos were in full force). Bike paths were very close. Can't say enough about how great the house, the furnishings, play areas, pool table, foos ball, air hockey all was. Enjoyed by all of us. We hope to return again next year.

Upon our arrival we all were impressed at the awesome things waiting inside for us to explore. Extra rooms, interesting closets, the game rooms and the elegance of the bedrooms and living room. Our rooms were very comfortable, and we all got wonderful sleep each night. We got a kick out of seeing the butler's pantry, and even enjoyed looking at the antique irons in the laundry room. In all we were pleasantly surprised at how awesome the mansion was.

We come to Ilwaco salmon fishing. We have 14 in our family consisting of teenagers to seniors. This was our third time renting from Bloomer Estates and was our second time staying at Bloomer Mansion. Bloomer Estates is great to work with and very quickly addresses any issue that pops up. Bloomer Mansion is great for all the family to sit around the table for meals and gather in the main room for conversations. We enjoy the fire pit, hot tub, BBQ grill and all it has to offer. Very close to the Port of Ilwaco.

We had a wonderful time while we were there. We stayed at Bloomer Mansion with our family 13 years ago and loved it. I couldn't wait to be back there again for spring break. The amenities are amazing and the kids were very excited to play ping pong and air hockey. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we were not able to go down to the beach and our trip was cut very short. Robbie and his staff were extremely helpful and kept us updated on new developments. They made us feel just like family :). We can't wait to come back and have our wonderful vacation that was cut short. We love this property so much!! Thanks so much for taking care of us!!

We had several families out for New Years! There was so much room for kids and adults alike. When the sun was shining we were on the beach via the beautifully maintained path and when it was raining there were all sorts of games to play. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds comfy, and th facilities great. T is an old house with appropriate ly dated decor. Kathleen was super helpful. Everybody had a great tome!

Very large rooms, big beds, good amount of supplies available like kitchen and bathroom stuff, lots of TVs, wide easy stairs, plenty of seating, very comfy. The water got shut off for a few hours on one of the days but the managers were apologetic and offered bottle water.

We had an amazing time! The walking path to the beach is ling so we opted to drive two blocks to the access road, the beach is perfect and safer for little in’s to play since fewer cars are driving on the sand. The house is awesome and my entire family had a glorious time! I would suggest buying drinking water as the tap water isn’t great m. Also, it would’ve been nice had the yard been cleaned up and mowed. We will definitely be returning!!

We had 16 family members in the house, for the first time ever, and found the property provided everything we needed including space to get away from eachother sometimes. The house was very clean and well stocked, with kitchen utensils and appliances, linens, and games. We had an issue with the Keurig the first morning and they were at the house with a brand new one, as well as ground coffee for the drip machine and doughnuts, within 20 minutes. The fire pit area is great, and we loved having the three floors so people had room to spread out. My nephew spent quite a bit of time playing the grand piano, which sounded wonderful. The hot tub was big enough for about 6-8 people at one time. The washer and dryer are HUGE -- you literally need a step stool and have to lean way down into the drum to get all your clothes out -- you can do a very big load at one time. There is a beautiful path through the woods from the yard to the beach, however, there were A LOT of mosquitoes so be prepared with plenty of bug repellent and to NOT STOP. We would definitely rent the property again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bloomer Mansion! The location was great. We could walk to the beach and into town. We loved the paved trail along the beach! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and it was very kid and pet friendly. Kathy, the property manager, was very helpful and always responded to my questions quickly. We will definitely recommend the property to friends and family, and we will book again when we have another family get together.

We had 9 adults and 9 kids (5 of which were under 2) and this space was wonderful! The toy closet lived up to everyone's hopes for all the ages and the outdoor playset was great. The old house is quirky but they have modernized it well. The bedrooms were surprisingly soundproof (we did use sound machines, but didn't really hear the other kiddos much at all). Because of the ages of our kids, we didn't really use the downstairs and yet didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. The kitchen was well stocked, especially with cooking and serving options for the large group. The next time we need a place to gather, we will likely be going back.

We were upgraded to this house after some heating issues with the house we originally rented. Have to say we really lucked out! We had a large group and there was more than enough space for us and our extended family to gather and entertain. It's an old quirky house but that's part of the charm. The outdoor play area was perfect for our little ones. And the path to the beach is really beautiful, don't miss it!

Bloomers Mansion has been the perfect marriage retreat for our 5 couples these past 7+ years. For January offseason we always get 2 extra nights free making our long weekend affordable and very accommodating since we have 5 private rooms w/queen or king comfortable beds. We love the kitchen and updated amenities as well as the quirky 100-year-old mansions quaintness. Having a dining table that easily seats all 10 of us for meals and space for games and visiting. Only issue is every year we have to have someone fix the tv dish reception and wifi can go in and out - but that's Longbeach for you!

We have been to Bloomer Mansion in the past with my family. We encouraged our potluck group of nine to try a 4 day weekend at Long Beach. Everyone was delighted with the house and offerings in the Long Beach area. The house is well appointed and kitchen has everything you could imagine needing. The management was very pleasant and responsive to our needs. We had a delightful time and many in our group are planning to return with their families.

House was the perfect place for a stay for us and our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone, and everything we needed for our stay right down to toys and toddler beds. Younger kids loved the "Harry Potter" room, older ones enjoyed board games. Close to amenities such as groceries. Close to attractions. Kids enjoyed kite flying, Family Fun center, museum, Scoopers and more. The only negatives-The beach trail was under water due to recent heavy rain, but beach access road was only a couple blocks away. Hot tub cover extremely heavy and awkward to get back on. Suggest bar lifter. And kids disappointed go-karts closed until spring. Overall, great stay.

Bloomer's mansion is one of the few places we have found to be good for all of us to eat together, have our own good beds/rooms and still something to do away from the house. Our multi-fanily gathering stayed at the Bloomer Mansion in December. We love this comfortable, roomy house. We fished (18 surf perch!), clammed and beach walked; cooked terrific family meals, talked, and slept well in the comfortable beds! We had a couple of minor problems, both were fixed immediately by the owners and manager!

We had an early Thanksgiving family get away. This house gave everyone their own bedroom and plenty of space to spread out. The living room was very comfortable with a tv viewing area and a seating area around the fireplace. Full size grand piano brought back all of our piano lesson "skills"! The entry was a great place to kick off our shoes, coats, and toys! The kids toy closet was a hit with my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. She practically lived in there! The dining, kitchen and butler pantry was stocked with everything we needed to cook large dinners. Everyone was able to sit around the table together. (That never happens) Beds were super comfy. Layout of the bedrooms was perfect with lots of extra's if needed. Downstairs game rooms kept the 20 something boys busy, and the hot tub was a wonderful relaxing bonus before bed. I already have friends asking about this place because we loved it so much. My family wants to make this an annual event. Oh, and I almost forgot! Wonderful trail to the beach! And for those that don't want to walk, the road to drive to the beach is about 2 minutes away. The grocery store, gas station and pizza shop are right there. Long Beach, 5 minutes away, has cute shops, great food, arcade, and great bakery :) We will be back!

The house is clean and is set up for everyone to be together or to be able to get away for quiet time. The owners were very responsive to any problems we had and fixed them, when possible, right away. We will be back, as long as no one in our family have any more babies!

This was the perfect place for our family get-together! There were 13 of us (young and old) and everyone was comfortable in the well-stocked home and made full use of the amenities provided. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy all the property had to offer outdoors as well as indoors. It was also great to be within walking distance to local restaurants and sights. This is the 4th location we've used for our August fishing trip & by far the best.The antique character of the house is amazing - EVERYONE loved it. Staff is responsive, the house is accommodating & everything works!

The house is five minutes to the port of Ilwaco and just a few minutes down a private trail to the beach. Gas, groceries & even a fishing license are available literally 4 & 5 blocks away.

Parking excellent, grounds well kept, clean & well organized, amenities that all work, owners & staff committed to good service - if it gets better I haven't yet seen it.

My family held a joint birthday party and reunion. We had 9 people + 1 dog and had a lot of fun. There were plenty of bedrooms for the 9 of us. A group of 4 opted to stay in a nearby hotel but there was plenty of room for 14 people to eat, drink and be merry, yet there was always room for a quiet book reading or some alone time somewhere in or around the house. Reserving the Bloomer Mansion, payment, key access, and check-out expectations were clear and easy. The house is quite old so is not in tip-top shape, but it is far from a shambles. Also, there are interesting things in the house to admire. The walk to the beach is about 15-20 mins through a mosquito-ridden path that was easy to follow (bring extra bug spray).

We love this house! We have rented it 4 or 5 times and it's perfect for our family. There is plenty of room for adults upstairs and kids downstairs. The kids loved all the game options. They have replaced the blinds upstairs and some of the furniture downstairs. This house has just about about everything you could need in the kitchen and the appliances are newer work very well. We only wish the fire pit was closer to the house. It is located by the woods and the mosquitoes were terrible there.

We have enjoyed this vacation rental for about 8 years now. Each year we have stayed here has been a relaxing and fun time. We love the size where the teenagers can be in the rec room while the adults are spread throughout the house reading a book, playing a card game etc. Our favorite time is walking through the woods to the beach. We never take the asphalt trail that would be too easy!
We will definitely be returning.
