Beach Time on 5th

I loved how it had plenty for the kids and adults to do right at home. We didn't have to travel to have fun.

Fantastic house for a family Christmas get-together. All the supplies you could need for big family dinners in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, lots of towels. Short walk to the beach. Just fantastic!

I was VERY impressed with Beach time on 5th. I don't recall reading about a clam cleaning station when I was checking out the amenities. That was a total bonus. I was a bit stressed about cleaning clam inside the house. The game room downstairs came in VERY handy for the kids and some adults!! I'll definitely be back and I'll be spreading the news about the great stay we all had

The house we rented from Bloomer Estates in Long Beach was amazing! Our family had a wonderful time and will definitely stay in one of their properties on our next trip to the beach. The people from Bloomer were great to work with as well and accommodated all our needs!

We loved staying at this beautiful home right at the beach! The home is walking distance to down town and right near the discovery trail. Loved the game room, and the perfect amount of space for our group of eight. Huge yard for the dogs and plenty to do for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and big enough for us to cook large meals everyday. Tons of towels, linens and blankets with a full washer and dryer. Excited to book another stay in Long Beach with them!

This house is wonderfully located. Short walk to beach, downtown, and boardwalk. Also has so much to do if you need to stay indoors due to weather or just want to unwind and kids want to play. We have stayed here 4 times and look forward to the next trip

We thoroughly enjoyed another Memorial Day weekend at Beach Time on 5th! It had everything we needed and wanted to have a relaxing and fun stay. When you arrive, it is clean and welcoming! We used the BBQ, the game room, and the fireplace, when we weren’t at the beach or in town, which are both a sort walk away from the house. The huge yard was perfect for our dog, and for corn hole.We’ve stayed there 4 times now (or, 5?), and we will definitely be back!

The house was the perfect location and layout for a large family gathering. The house was very clean, loved the decor and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. The deck, fenced backyard with a great fire pit.

House was exactly as described and as reflected in the photos. All listed amenities were available and accurate. Kids loved the game room. Had 2 minor maintenance issues and host was responsive in remedying the issues. Perfect location as we were able to walk to both the beach and downtown. Only issue were some bedspreads did not seem to be laundered; in the primary bedroom, it was covered in animal hair and in the bunk beds, both bedspreads had an odor but was fine after washing/drying them. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Overall location & home was good. A couple things needed to be fixed but property manager was quick to respond. Wish there was a bit more room in main living area since thats where most time was spent.

The property was exactly as described. Really loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything - cook/bake ware, serving ware, etc. The communication with the property company was excellent. A couple suggestions: I recommend updating they key entry instructions so it states the key code is for the keypad on the door rather than the lockbox. Also, unfortunately the dishwasher was working which wasn't great with a house full. Otherwise we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and all the amenities.

It was a great house in a great location. I would only recommend 2 things:
1)they install a screen door on the slider as the bugs are bad and there is no mic at flow.
2) fix or remove the bicycles. Neither of them work

Beach Time on 5th is perfect in every way! It is only a 5-minute walk to the beach, a 10-minute walk to town, and a comfortable place to stay at Long Beach. We’ve stayed here over Labor Day weekend for several years and have consistently been pleased with the cleanliness, the amenities, the comfort, and the location—off the beaten path, but walking distance to everything. We will be back!

The house is located in a great location, a brief walk to the beach. House is set up well for multiple people and the fenced backyard is perfect for dogs. It was very cold during our stay, but we enjoyed one fire at the outdoor fire pit using the ample supply of firewood provided.

Overall the house met all our expectations and we will come back when the weather is warmer.

We spent an amazing weekend in Long Beach at the Beach Time House. It was very well appointed for my two tweenage nieces as well as for the adults. The back yard was fenced and dog appropriate. The beach was within easy walking distance. The kitchen worked great for making homemade pizza - I did bring my own cast iron - but everything else was stocked and usable. The living room was super-relaxing with a smart TV which made casting Jackbox games to the TV a breeze. We walked to the Marsh museum and met Jake. The property management group was super-communicative with several informative emails leading up to our stay with clear instructions. 11 out of 10 stars!

Great location to walk to the beach. We had a fantastic time. Took the bikes out to the Lewis and Clark tree. Toys for the kids all ages. Mosquitoes make the fire pit impossible at night though. Otherwise clean, beautifully decorated.

Had a great stay, here's my summary review:
Pros - Location is perfect! So close to the beach, but also close to main street (5 min walk), very quiet street. All 3 rooms on main floor were good sized with closet space. Linens were comfy, mattress on softer side. Box fan, extra blankets, pillows and a few hangers in closet. Hallway bath clean and well maintained. Plenty of towels. Kitchen was well stocked for a vacation rental (hand mixer, blender, sheet pans, veggie peeler, variety of food storage containers, colander, plenty of really nice place settings, dish towels, convection oven, variety of pots/pans, utensils, mixing bowls). Plenty of space in the fenced yard for our dog to run around, poop bags were available. Wood and gas fire pits. Gas grill worked fine. Lovely views of the sunsets and peek-a-boo views of the ocean. Downstairs was great for kids (bunk beds with attached seating area with tv) and the pool/air hockey/foosball were a lot of fun. Sectional couch on main floor was crazy comfortable.

Cons: Bikes were great to have, but need maintenance. 2 of the bikes' chains broke mid-ride. Knives were pretty dull (a sharpener would be a great addition to the kitchen). Mosquitos were insanely bad such that we never used the wood fire pit or sat on the deck much - bring repellent!

Emails with check in info were clear and timely. Overall a really great experience and was perfect for two families (4 adults, 4 kids, 1 dog).

The house had easy access to the beach. It was clean and well supplied. They had toys and games for all ages.... even had bicycles to ride. We brought three dog’s. There was plenty of room inside and outside for the dogs. My family and I were very impressed.

We just loved our short time at Long Beach in this wonderful vacation home. It's got plenty of room and every amenity you can think of. The bikes and activity tables in the garage were an unexpected treat. We lucked out with great weather and were able to make good use of the bikes. Super close to the beach with a great view. We had a wonderful time in Long Beach! This is our second time staying at BeachTime on 5th and it is the perfect house for our family! We especially love the fenced yard for our dog, the game room, and how close this house is to both the beach and the town! There's almost too much to do as we got in 30,000+ steps a day, played games, watched movies, ate lots of amazing homecooked meals around the big family table. We even barbecued and had smores at the fire pit when it was 42 degrees outside. We also got to see quite a few deer this time. Oh and got lots of use out of the bikes and even the sand toys in the garage!

Our stay at Weather Beach was wonderful! The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked perfectly and plenty of bedding to keep us warm. And the bonus was having the garage set up with pool, Foosball and air hockey. We had a couple of days inside and had plenty to keep us all entertained. And the short walk to the beach was fantastic. My husband even commented that he'd love to repeat the trip exactly as we did it including the house. Thanks!!

This house had something for everyone! The owners put extra thought into making this vacation house! They had a variety of toys, games, sand toys, bikes with helmets, air hockey table, pool table, ect. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking utensils needed. If you needed an extra towel or blanket no need to worry those were provided too.

The downside was some general maintenance- both upstairs showers were missing door handles on the inside of the shower doors, the frig filter needs to be replaced so water would just trickle out.

Had a great time in Long Beach. The house was great. Having the finished basement, with all the games, was so much fun. The fenced in yard for the dogs was great. However, the grill needs to be looked at. The starter does not work correctly and is quite dangerous. Also, that the recycling is not included is ridiculous. We took our recycling to the center, but by not including this in the cleaning of the house, you are encouraging people to put their recycling in the trash.

This was our second time staying at this house and it was as great as the first time. Great location, view of the ocean and close walk. Had all the things we needed in the house and kitchen. The kids loved the downstairs with all the toys and games supplied and the game room with pool and other table games was a blast while enjoying the big screen TV. We enjoyed the local shops and of course the Cottage Bakery! The staff was very kind and helpful with all our needs and questions. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at this rental. We have people from 2yr to 56yr old and there was plenty to do when a storm rolled in. The place has a game room and the kids had a ps3 and lots of toys to play with. We also had our 2 dogs with us. The home has a fully fenced yard so there was plenty of room for them to run. The beach is a short walk away and the city center is as well. Dabra (sp?)was helpful and great to work with when making our plans to stay. Thank you Bloomer Estates.

We had everyone from grandma and grandpa down to our little one and a half year old and every one of us were as comfortable as can be. It was our first time renting a house and it was the best decision by far. All the comforts and convenience of being at home but with the amazing location and beach access of being on vacation. The manager of the rental was very easy to contact with any questions. The home had everything you could need and more! My favorite part was the bedroom with attached playroom for the kids. It gave the kids their own space which gave the adults their own space to visit, which creates a successful vacation for this stay at home mom. I’d go back in an instant.

We had the most wonderful time at this home with our kids The house was very clean and very well stocked. We could see the ocean from our balcony and hear the roar of the waves breaking. The weather was extremely nice and everything just had a touch of coziness to it’s charm. I gave it five stars even though the outdoor gas fireplace didn’t work. Was disappointed in that! I would highly recommend this home, it was very nice and especially for families!!!

This was her first time for any of us doing an Airbnb . Long Beach was halfway point for all of us to meet and we were unsure what to expect. Let me tell you we were extremely impressed and delighted The house had everything you would ever need! It was like coming to your own home! We all had a great time and now are going to make this a yearly event. I really can NOT explains enough how much we enjoyed ourselfs!

This was the second time I have stayed at this house for the annual rod run and it did not disappoint. 5th street is a great location with a short walk to town or to the beach. I found the home to be well equipped and ready for our stay. I think the home was actually cleaner then it was the first time I stayed. All of the neighbors were friendly and we felt very welcome and I know that’s not always the case with rental homes.

Our family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights - it was the perfect place for some great family time! We spent lots of time on the beach, watched movies, cooked, did a puzzle, played in the games room, rode the bikes, walked to main street and wandered through the shops. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have needed.

Beach Time gave us the perfect vacation experience. I rented the house for myself and three grown children, plus any significant others. Only one SO came, so 5 of us instead of 7. House was very nice, beds were comfortable, location was perfect. We walked or ran the Discovery Trail every day and we walked to town at least twice a day. The beach was just over the dunes and even though we had 3 cars, we hardly used them. Everything was in working order and no complaints. Good first experience with VRBO.

House was fantastic. My younger son was in heaven with all the kids toys downstairs and it made entertaining the littles much easier. My older son and husband took the bikes out for a spin and had a blast. My parents and family raved about what a great place I found and there was plenty of room for everyone to get together for the family meal. Mom mentioned it was the best rental house she has ever stayed at. We loved the quick walk to the beach every day. Thank you for making our vacation wonderful!

We love everything about Beach Time! The location is perfect: quiet and off the beaten path, but still only a few minutes away from the beach—to the west—and downtown—to the southeast.
You can see the water from the mail floor, and hear the surf. There is a huge, fenced yard, which was perfect for our dog, and for badminton.
There is plenty of room to congregate, eat, and watch movies in the main room, and on the decks outside. And, the bedrooms are comfortable and wonderful for time alone, and a good night’s sleep.
We are already planning our 2019 Memorial Day weekend at Beach Time!

We have stayed in this house before and loved it. It is close to town and in view of the beach. Three couples stayed comfortably and there was room for more. Three bathrooms is a plus.
We only ate out once but Castaways chowder is definitely one of the best!
We are already planning on staying here again.

What a great experience this was. It’s as if the owners of the house themselves stay in vacation rentals and know what is lacking and have made up for it. I have stayed in large houses where one is allotted one bath towel and one washcloth per person. Not Beach House on 5th. They have everything! The three bathrooms are fully stocked with lovely towels and supplies including soap, shampoo and conditioner. So many little details were thought of to make the experience like home.

Refreshingly, there are three actual bedrooms with comfortable queen beds in all rooms, nice bed linens, extra pillows and blankets. Three couples could comfortably stay in this house (and send the kids downstairs). There is a whole room downstairs with bunkbeds, two couches, a TV. The garage has a lot of fun stuff in it including bikes that actually work. We took two of the beach bikes onto the beach and didn’t even have to put air in the tires. Amazing. Kids’ bikes as well.

Perhaps even more exciting than the three adult bedrooms was the huge fenced yard for the dogs. Wow. There is an outside hose we used to rinse off the sand from the dogs after a beach walk. The house is so nicely taken care of and so clean, of course we wanted to keep it that way.

The kitchen was well stocked and the flatware was not the small cheapo bendy type. We usually bring the large soup pots that we will use, but there was no need as so many large pots and pans were supplied. This would be a great house for Thanksgiving (and any family reunion). The location near the dead end of the street close to the beach path was perfect.

Bloomer estates people were so helpful and responsive to any question I had. Communication was quick, easy and pleasant. I will def use Bloomer on my next trip to the beach.

Always love the beach house. And the people at Bloomer Estates are so helpful.

The house was located close enough to town you could walk and ride the provided bikes to town with no problem, yet just far enough away from town you didnt feel like you were in town. The beach was a short walk down the road and thru the private path. The provided bikes were lots of fun for the whole family. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place to stay, the location could not have been better. we walked, jogged and cycled the Discovery path and town. Walked to the Greatest Bakery we have ever been to (Cottage Bakery) a real draw for us each trip to Long Beach.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay. One suggestion we would have would be to have information as to when garbage is picked up, as when we arrived on Saturday the previous guests did not recycle and the garbage can was 90 % full. We found out it would be 3 days before pickup. Your cleanup crew might take this into consideration so new renters coming in have adequate space for garbage.

With perfect weather and a beautiful, quiet setting, 2 families from Seattle and one from Cincinnati spent a week in absolute bliss. So often these kinds of get-togethers result in the sad replay of old hurtful patterns but for us, it was a fresh new chapter. After many years apart we were able to experience who we've become, and guess what? We like us! The setting had everything to do with it. The constant flow of ocean air. The sunsets. The firepit. Loads of space and activities. The cleanest place we've ever been. A fenced yard and nice neighbors. We all miss it. We all wish we were still there. We all hope we can do it again. Many, many thanks for sharing this magical bit of heaven on earth.

my kids, grand-kids, great-grand-kids, friends and cousins all gather in Long Beach every year for the week of July 4th. We love the beach and the Beach Time on 5th house is perfect for our barbecues and visiting. We are close to the beach and can watch the fireworks from the deck. Love it here.

It was all around a wonderful experience and will definitely be renting from here again. Everything was perfect. The only thing I recommend is spraying the back yard for mosquito. (They were pretty bad in the back yard). Adding a pool or hot tub to this residence would make the trip absolutely perfect however I was very happy and my family had a great time!!

This was a nicely located house to beach and town. We were happy to find a house that accepted dogs so our animal/human family could be together on vacation. I would stay at this place again in the future.

Third time we have stayed in this very well maintained house and we will do it again. With 3 bedrooms, 3 baths a good kitchen and living room it is more than adequate for 6 adults.

This was our first VRBO experience. The house was perfect: clean, well equipped and great location. We used the bikes in the garage to ride along the beach.

The home was clean and beautiful. It was located in town but off the main road to provide privacy and very close to a beach access path. It had all we needed to simply relax and take in the view of the ocean from the deck. We went in the off season which was even more enjoyable and quiet. We highly recommend a stay here for anyone wanting to get away.
